Free devices and internet services for BIPOC community members affected by mental illness

According to a December 3 article in The Skanner, Black Mental Health Oregon is offering free devices and internet services to communities of color and other vulnerable populations to help keep them connected throughout the pandemic. Coordinated by the City of Portland’s Office for Community Technology, the aim of the program is to “help close the digital divide for low-income Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) communities, individuals with disabilities, and seniors.”
