Problems with Kepro make front-page news

NAMI Oregon Executive Director Chris Bouneff and other mental health advocates are interviewed in this story from The Oregonian about how a state program has been denying individuals with severe mental illness higher levels of care. An internal review from the state warned that many could become homeless, and at least three vulnerable patients have been injured after being discharged to lower levels of care.

 

“People have been harmed, and needlessly so,” said Bouneff.
